Sunday evening treat.

Last night after dinner we took a little walk and got some Italian Ice. I love being close enough to walk to things!

Of course, Olivia had to bring along her baby...and wear her cowboy boots :)

I will see your smile and raise you one more!

There is no purpose for my post today, other than the fact that I wanted to share some cuteness with you!

wordless Wednesday - Daddy edition.

Since we are missing Daddy this week, this is for him! We can't wait to see you on Friday!

A week for princesses.

We are "in the city" this week. That's what people in Altus say when you want others to know you entered civilization for a bit :) In our case it means my sister's house in Oklahoma City.

Olivia and her cousin Jordan are going to Princess Camp each morning at a local dance studio. Eqch day they focus on a different princess, have crafts, songs, and dancing! Olivia said her favorite part was "the singing" yesterday and Jordan said hers was "dancing". Both girls are really enjoying it and the adults are all anxious for the "recital" on Friday where they will show off their dance moves!

The sweet cousins before camp Monday morning and then Olivia this morning!

Carter has been chasing the big kids, terrorizing Aunt Cathy's house, and showing off his no fear attitude.....

This boy keeps us on our toes, that's for sure!

when you can't beat the heat...

....then join your friends and throw some water balloons! Thanks to Luke and his mommy for inviting us over to join the fun!

Tosses from this stool were short lived as Luke took a nasty tumble and face planted into the driveway not too long after this picture. The poor boy is a tough one though and his momma reported last night that he was doing just fine.

Despite the tumble, everyone had a great time! Thanks for the fun idea, Kacey!

why the kitchen is THE place to be.

Everyone in this family seems to have a different perspective as to what makes our kitchen a great place to be.

Carter thinks the dishwasher is the greatest invention ever (after the stairs, of course;)

Olivia loves to hang out while I cook and practice her whistling techniques (she has yet to be successful)

I love to make tasty and healthy food for our family to eat, like these tomatoes! They were simply delicious, very easy, and scream "it's summertime!".

Last, but not least, Andy likes to eat whatever I cook...

Couldn't forget about him. :)
