I thought the post title was appropriate since y'all haven't heard anything from me since the last Wordless Wednesday post. Right now things are a little busy and I am going to continue to simply supply my blog with pictures. I'm not sure when I will get back to blogging regularly, but I will. Summer time has meant lots of traveling for us (not just big trips, but little ones around the area as well) and a baby who is now on the move! So long are the days of putting Carter in one place and knowing he will still be in that room when you return! He has been off exploring the house and the stairs, and puts anything and everything in his mouth on his travels. Olivia is a big 3 year old now and while her shining moments are as bright as ever, she still requires lots of hands-on intervention! She loves for me to play with her, whether its princesses, board games, paiting, baby dolls, or jumping on the trampoline. So, needless to say, my computer time is very limited and any connection I do make to the internet is on my iPhone. I am also trying to use any down time I have to stay current on my Bible readings. I am serious about that goal and I am trying to stay focused.
Moral of the story: stay tuned if you like pictures of my kiddos! I will do my best to put some up a few times a week to keep the grandparents all happy ;) However, if you come here for my profound thoughts on parenthood and life (haha), you will have to search for that elsewhere!

She gave him his afternoon bottle on Monday, and then asked me
"Mommy, when I get older can I be your mommy so I can take
care of you?"
Our sweet girl has a nurturing side to her heart, thats for sure. |

| Oh my! I can hardly stand his cuteness! |
 |
when sister isn't giving him his bottle, he takes
care of it himself with his toes!
We call him 'monkey baby'! |
 |
| My sister and her kids came and stayed with us a few days this week! |
 |
We did story time at the library and lots of water play to try
and beat the 110 degree heat! |
