Vacation picture deluge - part two. Valley Forge and a wedding!

We arrived safely to the suburbs Thursday evening, just in time for happy hour at the hotel! Outstanding! We really needed a drink ;) My parents, sister, aunt, and cousin were also waiting with smiling faces to help us with our luggage! Ha. Andy and I were happy to give up our pack mule status!

The kids relaxing at the hotel
The Rehearsal dinner was at my uncle's country club and provided gorgeous views.

This was a special seat they had for Olivia. She said it was her princess chair!
Saturday morning we headed the few miles up the road to Valley Forge National Park. It is where George Washington and his troops camped through the winter during the Revolutionary War. I've visited it several times over the years and it impresses me every time. The views are simply gorgeous!

The National Memorial Arch...

Later that afternoon we got to witness my uncle marry his love. It was very touching to see two people marry later in their life; both thinking that they may spend their retirement years alone. We are so happy that God led them to each other. My uncle is a changed man. A far far cry from the self-proclaimed bachelor he ALWAYS said he would be for life!

Trying to keep the kids quiet before the wedding!

The reception was at the bride's parents home. It was very very well done. Classy and fun! Andy and I were especially able to enjoy ourselves because the bride and groom hired a sitter to watch our kids for the evening. They were onsite, but upstairs having fun where we didn't have to worry about them doing things like breaking glass vases or knocking over the sushi station! I instantly felt 100 pounds lighter upon delivering them to the sitter!

"Mom I want to swim in the pool!"

Olivia insisted on coming down for the cake cutting :)

Jeff and Jll!
My handsome dad and beautiful mom! Love them!
A little dancing!
Next up...a one way ticket to the beach!!
