24 months

For the baby book......
Height: 37.25 inches (off the chart)
Weight: 30 pounds (75th percentile)

Sleeping: 8 or 8:30pm each night until 8 or 8:30 in the morning.  Bedtime has shifted a little later this summer, by default.  It doesn't get dark as early and we are usually busy playing outside and forget about the time.  However, I think it is going to work for us because we will soon be living on CST rather than EST, so the hour difference will work in our favor.  I like the idea of her waking around 7:30 on our new time rather than 6:30!  (also, I am NOT a morning person, so I really have enjoyed sleeping in this summer).

Nap:  one nap for average of 2 hours, typically begins around 1pm

Eating: will try most anything, but is quick to tell us if she likes it or not.
-favorite foods: macaroni and cheese, pasta and marinara, cheese, blueberries, hummus, avocado, hot dogs, ham, and milk

Language: lots of 3, 4, & 5 word combinations, surprises me by saying new words every day (today it was "delicious"), has started to call me "mommy" v.s. "mama"

Fun Facts:
-loves to hop, jump, and run
-her favorite things right now are her baby dolls - she feeds, diapers, rocks, sings to them, takes them for walks, puts them to bed in their cradle, dresses, and wants them to be doing most anything she is doing (e.g., she is eating lunch, so baby has to be in her chair eating lunch, she is getting her diaper change, so baby must have her diaper changed too!)
-loves to be read to and to read to herself
-loves Dora the Explorer, but also still likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Curious George, and The Cat in the Hat
-has stopped crying/throwing a huge fit when I leave her with a sitter or with Andy (praise God!)
-will put herself into time-out when she knows she is not acting as she should (i.e., being unkind and not sharing with her best friend)
-is quite a fish and loves to swim in the pool and go to the beach!
-continues to show a continued interest in animals
-shows more and more signs of wanting to be "independent" with things (she will say "Aiya do it" and not let anyone help her)
